Terms and conditions for Sovelto e-commerce
Effective from 1.10.2017.
General information about the Sovelto online store
The products of this Online Store are sold by Sovelto Oyj business ID 0566575-7. We sell services to companies and adults in Finland and the EU. We reserve the right to change prices.
The services are ordered via the online store at
www.sovelto.fi via the shopping cart.
All orders are confirmed by e-mail, stating the price of the order and the products ordered. To receive an order confirmation, you must provide an email address when ordering.
The customer agrees to the terms and conditions valid in connection with each order.
We will email you an order confirmation where you can see
- ordered products
- the total amount of the order.
You can check the contents of your order through the user account on our website, if you have registered for the service when ordering.
The products can be ordered by invoice (business customer) or by payment when ordering. In the online store, you can pay with the following payment methods: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, LähiTapiola, Aktia, Nooa, Local Cooperative Banks, Savings Banks, Handelsbanken, S-Bank, Bank of Åland and payment cards.
Depending on the payment method, any payment method fee will be added to the total amount of the order. Any payment method fee will be announced at checkout. Some products in the e-commerce range may have payment method restrictions. Restrictions on payment methods are stated on the product’s pages and are shown at the checkout with the crossed-out payment method.
In the Sovelto online store, all payment connections are secured with SSL encryption. All credit card payments will be verified and if verification fails, Sovelto reserves the right to reject the order.
Delivery and order cancellation
The service is available at the time specified in the order confirmation. The user IDs required to use the digital services are delivered electronically to the e-mail address provided by the customer or defined via an SSO connection.
If the registrant is unable to attend the training or event, another person may attend instead. Note! For courses held with official materials from Microsoft or VMware, the cost of the new material will be charged as an additional charge for the change of participant. (Courses use electronic material that may not be transferred to another person’s name if the original participant has already activated the material themselves.)
Registration can be canceled or transferred free of charge no later than 14 days before the start of the training. After this, we will charge 100% of the price of the training.
In case of illness, we will charge the price in connection with the initial training and the registrant will have the opportunity to participate in the next training without additional costs. The transfer requires a medical certificate. We will not store any medical certificates we receive via email anywhere and we will delete them immediately after verification.
Sovelto’s continuous learning services terms and conditions
Please note that when you purchase an individual Sovelto PRO course, you also commit to ordering the Sovelto PRO Skills continuous learning service with a continuous charge.
The contract period for Sovelto’s continuous learning services is at least 12 months. The order is valid continuously without renewal until canceled. The service may be terminated one (1) month before the start of the next billing period.
When you subscribe to the ongoing service, you will be charged annually at the start of the billing period using the payment method of your choice (invoice / online banking / credit card). The payment method selected in connection with the order will continue for the following billing periods, unless you request this to be changed.
If you want to pay monthly instead of a one-time payment, select “Invoice” as the payment method and enter “Invoice monthly” in the Details field.
Enter the details of new users of the service in the Additional information field (first name, last name, e-mail address) on the Checkout page.
Termination must be made in writing as follows:
- Sovelto PRO & PRO Skills -services: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Sovelto Easy: email@example.com
- Sovelto Leader: firstname.lastname@example.org
The licenses to use the services are personal.
The annual price increase index is 3%. The increase takes effect without separate notice after the service has been in use for 12 months and applies to all forms of invoicing (one-time / monthly charge).
We reserve the right to reschedule and cancel public trainings and events. We are not responsible for indirect costs caused by schedule changes or cancellations, such as travel and accommodation costs. The general cancellation policy does not apply to campaign entries.
